How We Supply Power
The electric power system consists of seven main components:
The Transmission Lines
From the generating stations and tie stations along the grid, large amounts of electricity are transported over long distances via transmission lines − between 44kV to 525kV of electricity connecting the high-voltage grid together and delivering service to local substations.
