The Regional Grid
Dispatch centers maintain and control the flow of electricity over the grid, supplying electricity to meet the demand. Area reliability councils help ensure grid stability through integrated regional planning. These area reliability councils are responsible for promoting and improving the reliability, adequacy and critical infrastructure of the bulk power supply systems.
